- Identity: manufacturer, type, serial number, chemistry, year, software and hardware level.

- Health: SoH, available capacity, resistance, cell deviation and insulation.
- Safety: visual and diagnostic anomalies, leakage, mechanical damage and thermal events.
- Target: requirements of the vehicle or stationary application, economics and legal status.
